Set Your Preferences

The Preferences step lets you tell Meelio about yourself so the AI can better tailor clinical documentation to your specialty.

Note: This step is optional and can be skipped. You can update all of these settings later from Settings → Account.

Your Name

If you joined an organization with an invite code, you'll be asked to enter your First Name and Last Name. If you created the organization, this is already set from the previous step.

Your Specialty

Select your specialty from the grouped list:

  • Practice / Clinic Manager
  • Office / Front-Desk Coordinator
  • Billing / Insurance Specialist
  • Care Coordinator / Patient Liaison

If your specialty isn't listed, select Other (specify) and type it in.

Your specialty helps Meelio generate documentation appropriate for your field.

Provider Identifiers (Optional)

You can optionally enter:

• NPI Number — Your 10-digit National Provider Identifier
• Taxonomy Code — Your healthcare provider taxonomy code (e.g., 133V00000X)

These identifiers may be used when exporting documentation or for EHR integration.

Continuing

Click Continue to save your preferences and proceed to the final onboarding step. There, you'll have the option to complete onboarding and launch a Sample Consultation tailored to your specialty, or go directly to your main dashboard. You can always update your profile later from Settings → Account.
